The South Carolina Geneology Society Workshop took place at the State Archives.  Here are some pics of it.  The big document that one of the staff is holding up for me is the original of the Ordinance of Cessasion of the Confederate States of America (signed for South Carolina by J.S.Sims).  The room the original documents are kept in is kept cool and dry.  It felt like home.
