A sign?

I debated as to whether or not to post this.  It was a moment that seemed meaningful at the time so yes I will post it.

Back with the pictures of me at the Pacolet River there was a moment.  I was looking out off the bridge over the river.  Looking eastward toward Grindal Shoals thinking about the British and Continental armies going back and forth through the shallow waters of the shoal.  Thinking of Fosters Moseleys and Fowlers who lived around the community that used to be just upstream from this modern bridge.  Suddenly I heard a splash and there frolicking in the water just in front of me was a beaver.  Such a Canadian symbol it struck me as a greeting.

They are common, although I had never seen nor heard of them here.  There was a skin trade with the Indians in the early days here, not beaver.  At any rate it was a moment.Beaver in the Pacolet

What is even more Canadian is the underwater traffic direction sign… and the beaver is following it! LOL See the arrow just in front of the critter?
