Bobby Faucette Highway from US 18 just north of Grindal Shoals

Sandy Run approaches the Pacolet River from the south just east of Grindal Shoals.  The bottom lands among these ridges attracted pioneer families like Portman, Jasper, Moseley, Gault, McWhirter, Hames and Foster who arrived here in 1795.
