Honorable Commissioner of Pensions,

Dear Comrade,
Please pardon this.  I feel that if you knew me you would.
I am 80 years old and here alone.  Am unable to work to earn by work.  By scrimping and saving I had enough to buy me a little home but my pension does not give me enough to have anyone with me.  I feel that if you will send me before your Board of Directors here they will put my case to you so you will feel justified in giving me the $72 raise.
So Trusting, I remain yours truly,

Andrew J. Foster
